I play with it stretched out and it doesn't bother me, but then, I'm not picky. I'm sure Phil is going to update the game to include widescreen before too long, since now we both finally have widescreen computers. In the meantime, give datruedave a little peace and quiet!

Oh you're so sweet! I'll certainly let him know.
I sometimes forget in this small community that everyone doesn't automatically know who I am. I'm Phil's wife, so I keep tabs on his forums and such. I will make sure and request that "widescreen support" goes near top of the priority list for the next update (possibly this summer), if it's not near the top already.

Location: Switzerland | I'm back with a new laptop, so +1 for widescreen support from my part. Alternatively, a quick link on how to make X11/SDL on Ubuntu 9.04 use up just a 4:3 part in the center of the screen would be fine too. |

Posts: 1 | I also recently bought the game, and I'm playing it in a window because of the lack of widescreen support. My resolution is 1920x1080. I also bought the iPod version - and I love the internet multiplayer on it.
So one more vote for widescreen support!
Most Windows games I play automatically detect the resolutions supported by the video card and give you options to pick any of them you like. Something like that would permanently fix this problem. |
