Don't want to steal the thunder of irt so I'll wait until that one is over but just wanted to know if anybody was interested.
Probably only going to be registered only. :D But we can organize all that later. |

I guess you don't remember the heady days of the Galcon team league tournaments. We tried to get a team league going where we had organized, permanent teams that battled in ladder tournaments every week. It lasted about a month before it got bagged because a lot of people wouldn't show up (not my team--my team showed up for every tournament and soundly trounced all competition).
We've had other team competitions too, most notably the Valentine's Day couples tournaments, and there were one or two other big team tournaments too. It's been a long time though, so there should be a new one. If you wait till we're back from Yellowstone on August 18, bug me again and we'll set a time. |

At which point an invite ladder (for the top 8 players and teams for Galcon) will compete for the best player/team of the game itself.
The CG ladder should hold it's own on reliability and permanency due to it's Rank based system for teams and players.
if you can join up to the ladder i'd strongly recommend it.
Sorry about Macintosh,
If you can run a virtual PC emulation on your Mac to play Instant Action this would solve the problem.
Though if enough interest from the ladder could persause IA to make Mac compatible with Galcon IA version, that would be even better.post updated on Aug 7, 2009 @ 10:47am |

Galcon is now an official ladder, alogn side games such as Call of Duty, Company of Heroes etc.
The stronger the ladder gets the more people that will join, boosting the numbers for the ladder.
The CG Galcon ladder has been active now for only 3 days and we already have just over 35 players participating and counting. |

Wow, I'm so immature that I thought this post was inappropriate... xD
And everybody, if you want to organize it go ahead... I started writing up a possible draft but I'm busy and all so I may be more unproductive than not.post updated on Aug 16, 2009 @ 3:01pm |
