Thought I'd bump this thread. I've been getting a few updates lately that say fixed stability issues for super fast iPhone 4s. I don't know what that means, but it's probably Similar to the lag problem. hopefully apple has some answers.

I got my 4S lately, and everything was good after ~2 hours playing, then it really started to randomly lag and especially in huge fights everything lags so much. I closed everything open, but that didn't change everything. This is really annoying.

It may be the iPhone itself, notpurple. I wouldn't say it's the games fault that one device lags. I'd try using a different apple product (iPod, iPad, iPhone 3rd and 4th generation ect).

considering this is only happening on the 4S, please enjoy a tall glass of DUH.  It's obviously a compatibility issue. Thanks for the info.

Nanno made it quite clear to me before I quit that her and Phil had no idea what was up with this problem and had little interest in figuring it out.  I only  reinstalled and posted here to check up on it, this issue forced my retirement over 3 months ago, it's done, I don't care.

It's just sad is all.

I quit too. 2 months waiting and still no update. Thats a shame, and we aren't talking about the newest device on the market.

Yeah, we've never owned an iPhone, so Phil can't even look into this issue. They didn't make a corresponding iPod Touch for the 4s so we never got the hardware.

Does this happen on the ipad2/3? I think the ipad2 is pretty much the same as a 4s for the most part. Maybe this year's touch will be more on par with the 4s.

Yeah I'm still getting it and it's annoying but manageable.

Hopefully the ip5 doesn't have this problem. But on the bright side, there is a touch coming with an A5 in it, and a larger 4" screen, so hopefully galcon will be updated to use it and the hanging on A5 fixed.

Had this problem when I started playing this game on the 3GS and now still on an android Galaxy2 and Galaxy3.  Even with full wifi over cable modem or full signal or 4g speeds, this problem still occurs.

about 50% of the time if I just wait it out, the game re-syncs with itself and I can resume playing (if I havent been eliminated by then).  The other half of the time it dumps me back to the game selection page.

This may be device dependent, but I doubt it - considering multiple people with multiple devices have complained of this.  I'm fairly certain it has to do with how Phil has coded the packets of data being sent and received.
