Posts: 677 | Alright, im sorry, i had too. There are currently Four Grand admirals and i need to take this point to point out a slight flaw in the ranking system.
Currently, the top four accounts are all grand admiral, and there are only five tripe stripes. So that means that if you play them, it doesn't affect you at all. If someone manages to beat one of them 60/40, which should be an awesome feat, then you should be rewarded for it. You dont get any weight points that will help you rank up. So at least make it so the grand admiral games count as triple stripe weight because there are so few, as there are. At this point there is absolutely NO incentive to play against grand admirals. If i was a little one stripe i would not want to ruin my win % by playing against the accounts, MyM.LegenD, MyM.DaemoN, Deuce, or HeFeweizeN. I know era already pointed this out, but i thought it should be addressed again.

uhh...so as u see all the GAs are Me, esparano, ionizefire and manutd...
all but maybe 1 or 2 of the three stripes is my account, Manutds, and ionizedfire...
so since they r leaving...there will only be like 2 or 3 to play. which means that another GA is probablu near impossible i think unless ur already a 3 stripe or something. but idk i didnt calculate it.

not to demean any of your your skills at all. ;) But ranks are truly meaningless.
If Galcon had 10 times the player base, and Phil upped the weight requirements to match, and THEN implemented a 1 device per weight rule instead of a 1 account per weight rule... Posts: 44 | Deuce, I agree with you. I want the ranks to be harder. I was able to get 3 stripes in like 30-1hr. I did that for TheFallenOne and DivineWorld. However, the 3 stripes were hard to find. Anyway, yes i agree. The ranking needs to be tweaked.
Btw, can u add me(Socratic) and pianoman(Esparano) to the list on your GA thingy. :)
EDIT: and the_musician, it actually was possible, but its just we all had multiple 3 stripes. But there were others besides my (two 3 stripes), manutds two 3 stripes, and ionizedfires three 3 stripes, and esparanos 3 stripe. There was Bah, Solspin, RisenKnight, Blipblop, OnToTheNext, and a couple more that i forget.
