Location: Galcon Group Therapy | We've all seen the screen shots of the last 2 players and how 1 won't quit and 1 won't finish the job.
There will always be debate about who should finish and who should surrender. That is not what this post is about.
This thread is about having to make a final finish and screen shot of this event a little more challenging!
You need to now not only take a screen shot, but also while holding down on your opponents last planet. In doing this, you as the obvious champion run the risk of pushing the wrong button, exiting Galcon, and losing the game! I have an original iPhone, and my top button really doesn't work most of the time. So if I try to take a picture, I often end up closing the app I was using. In Galcon, that means you've spent all the effort to get this great screen shot and now lost. Remember, you need to also be pressing the opponents last planet to add a little level of difficulty and potentially lose it all.

Posts: 77 | As soon as it becomes absolutely impossible to win, you should surrender. The person who clearly won should finish the job as quickly as possible so that the servers aren't taken up. BOTH people should try to end the game.

Location: Florida | Yep - Toby is definitely a douche for not ending the game. They players don't surrender because you may get disconnected (or be stupid enough to quit the game while taking a picture of it) and thus they would win - you *****tard.
Total douch move. I always make sure that a player who does that never gets the chance to do it again in any games I play... I may not win, but they won't get the chance to parade their douchebag self around either. |

Location: Galcon Group Therapy | I started doing this just to make fun of people just like you, ipityu. The reason I do it is when it's so very obvious that I've won and yet somebody just keeps on flying around landing on planets with their measley 20 ships. If I have all the planets, what do you think you're going to do with your few ships?!?! Almost all the stripes I play, and certainly all the two stripes will surrender as soon as they know it's over. They are the cool players who end it. I always surrender as soon as I know so the next game can start.
If you're one of those idiots who thinks flying around with a couple of ships is funny, then you're the one delaying the game. Quit and quit yer cryin ipityu.
By the way, your play style sucks. Learn and grow up. |

Location: North Carolina | This is lame. You have the ability and responsibility to end the game so end it. You're preventing others from playing and blocking a perfectly good server.
For all you know they could have forgotten about the game and left. It happens. Or they're just new... possible too.
Just kill them. Who cares if they surrender or not, you've won so get the game over with. |

I like your idea. Here's my go at it. As you can see, there are low & high ranked players who just won't quit. I can vouch that the high-ranked players shown were their real selves, this was after playing a few games that they wanted to hold onto a victory. Or, just having fun. Also, these were all 1v1 games. And no, these players weren't AFK, b/c ships would get sent out by them randomly.
