Location: Colorado The Queen Bee | Ok, so here's the deal. We didn't quite finish the tournament today because there Toomacho started a brawl about cheating. I don't personally think anyone cheated, but in any case we never got to the third round. Here's how it stands:
Ionizedfire and Periwink are at the top with two wins and no losses.
Toomacho, Diehappy, Strangelove, and Hail.Aric have one win and one loss each.
Since this is a double-elimination game, I'm going to say we need one more elimination round between the four lower echelon players. Two will be eliminated and the final four will face off in a final death match. The person with the most points at the end of the final death match will be the supreme individual 2v2 warrior!!!
I can run the final round of the tournament tomorrow (Sunday) at the same time (or thereabouts) as today. Ya'll let me know what works. We need to get this sorted!!!
And to everyone who put up with me on their team, ya'll are great. I haven't played this game in so long it's shameful, so I constantly make tactical errors and misclicks. But at least it was fair... you ALL had to put up with me for a set. =)post updated on Feb 27, 2010 @ 8:23pm |

Location: Colorado The Queen Bee | So this tournament kind of fizzled since our players did not show up for the final show-down. We ended up with both Periwink and Ionizedfire as winners, with Periwink having a slight points lead. In the end, I don't think it would be fair to declare one winner here. It was not really a proper tournament as it was never finished, so no prizes on this one, but to our two champions, you get fame and glory, and you can both have a trophy. =) |
