Hey, I've updated the Maze of Madness so now you can create your OWN separate mazes!

Let the fun begin ...

P.S. Please tell me if anything is totally busted.

COOL!

Would this make a good iphone game?  Maybe you could seed several themed style mazes to start people off?  Like: Wild West, Sword and Sorcery, Space/Aliens, Pirates, 1950's Murder Mystery, Spy vs Spy, etc?

The interface would have to be modded to suit the iphone, with items folding away perhaps,...

WDYT?

For reporting any content that might be against the site's

.. I can't really monitor everything that goes into the maze, so this way if someone puts in something really awful .. well .. I can get it sorted :)

"you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented..."

Oops.

Have you played the Pyren mystery through to the end?  I hope its ok, I kept the cussin' to 'd-a-m-n' (I notice that got starred out!!!), 'hell' and 'bloody', i think.  If any of it is not ok, please let me know which bits you need toning down!  It goes somewhat Tarantino at one point and there are other bits...

Well, I do have a "badwords" filter on the game now.  So if you had a few swears, those will be filtered out automagically.

ah - cunning move!

Can you tell me what's ok?  I was using a very restricted set for dramatic emphasis, not swearing for its own sake!

Please leave hell and bloody in!

I thought d-a-m-n would be ok?  Judging by what passes for a 12A film these days!

As it seems you'll add onto this one now, There might still be a big inventory, would you add a "search for item' search box?

If we're doing requests....  ;)

Is it possible to make it so that an action can REMOVE an item from your inventory, as an _additonal_ feature to the effect of going to new location or getting a new item.  ie one action could remove an item and give you a new one.

Or would this cause some kind of problem I haven't though of?

So I am considering this .. however .. I think one of the joys of the maze is the ability to click around without too much worry about what will happen.

If you lose an item, end up going "back to start" .. and need that item again, you may have to re-step a previous quest to re-get the item so you can use it again to get through the part where you lost the item.

Anyway .. We'll see how the 2.0 edition goes for a week or so before I mess with it much any more ;)
