Doesn't quite work that easily phil! I'm logged in here, but it doesn't log me in on his site's Galcon.

By the way, when you start working on Flash Galcon, don't forget the recommended admin list please :)

We're starting to get a few more noobs playing, and some of them have absurdly bad behavior, ruining gameplay for everyone else, with their continuous intentional suicides and endless chat spam.

And honestly, we'll also need some variety in bot's difficulty and more challenging bots!!
I just played two games at the same time against the bot in different servers, and it was still disappointing lol...

And i didn't even use 2 browser windows, it was on another tab in the same window so I could only see 1 screen at a time haha, but the bot is too dumb, I don't even need to be looking to know he'll go for worthless neutral planets.


Different bots would give noobs the ability to pick their challenge level, and also give more experienced players a not-so-boring distraction when in a server waiting for opponents.


Update:
Wow the bot is so dumb I even fooled him into playing a 3-player game hahahaha! I'll call him dumb0t-classic from now on :D

i would like the ability to add 1 or 2 or even 3 bots to a multiplayer game would make it much more fun then 1v1 or 1v1v1

I kicked a b0t that only want to play single player, he goes AFK when there are 2 or more players in the room :P

dorus they usually do that when they are in a 12-player room. You can still play 1v1 against him, by fooling the bot the same way as when making it play in a 3 or 4 player match.

Hmm, when were Flash n00bs able to speak?  Kinda scary when I saw that they could talk.  Why is this enabled for them?  There aren't very many registered Flash users so I thought that was a good limitation.

As far as I know, they've always been able to speak. And they should. For instance, I know I would not be registered if I couldn't speak when I was a n00b, that was the one thing that allowed me to make friends in the game. Without that, I wouldn't be here and probably wouldn't even be playing it anymore.

As far as Galcon Flash goes, I really think you guys should expand the map, at least double the planets and area. Or maybe scale the map size according to the number of players playing. It's a terrible experience with like 8 players on the current map, though... way too small

yeah we do need bigger maps for bigger matches. with 8~12 players playing, you can't do anything without being at risk at the very start of the game because you start with at least 2 people right next to you, sharing the same neutral planets.
It would be better to have a bigger area, so that you can actually safely take at least 2 or 3 planets before you find enemy planets close to you.
