If anyone has read 'The Giver', or any of the related sequels/prequels, and still remembers the part where the main character (a guy) is trying to escape his dystopian society with his 'girlfriend', you may be able to identify with the song's underlying tension/passion.
I haven't read 'The Giver' in maybe 10 years now, but I still remember the sense of tension I felt when reading that part of the book. The emotion of this song fits PERFECTLY with the emotion of that scene of the book. Listening to this song and really *feeling* it just totally sparked that 10-year old memory of the book's situation.
Haha, anyway, just my experience with this whole thing. Carry on.
