I'll eventually set it up for trending and soon I'll have it auto update. Oh yes, I also only have it doing the Galcon forum (by that I mean only the "Galcon" section of the forums), but could add others...
Hope you like it!
Notes:
The cloud will be continually updated.
I've changed the rendering to include more tags and to position them better so you can see them all.

The official tag cloud (Friday, August 3st, 2012):
A secondary tag cloud I found humerous/interesting. :-)

edit: wow I'm a dufus. I put the "2" after .png... :-/post updated on Aug 3, 2012 @ 9:15am |

Yeah, I don't have it do trends right now. :-) Just over all talked-aboutness.

Plus, I increased the number of tags drawn so people with fewer occurrences showed up. You an melek are still the biggest, and thus most talked about. :-)

Much better placement of words. (Now it's a little too far out, but I understand that it may be necessary to prevent clumping) Could you send me a link to the code? I'm curious to see how you're doing it.
Did you ever add on to the useless word filter?
edit: Added the second paragraph.
edit 2: Asked about the useless word filter.

Thank you. Yeah... I can fix it by not rendering 100 tags and only doing 80 or by picking a different rendering. I randomly choose where to put the tags. Each tag is essentially a node and I do stuff similarly to A*. I used to just pick a side and put the tag there, but I added collision/overlap detection to stop trying to put tags where they wouldn't fit. Sure. I assume you mean the rendering code...
Yes, but I'm not sure what words are useless.

Can you make a 1400x900 one? That would be awesome :) |

Thanks marky.

I'm sure nobody but marky cares that much about auto-uploading via http POST, but I just had to announce such wonderful progress. :-P
