For me most things are acceptable. It always depends on the situation, the effect of your action and if its the first time you do it. Thats why i voted almost nothing with "1".
If i vote for "usually acceptable" it does not mean i like it if you do it. Its propably no reason to warn or kick. But often i'm in the mood to kill players who behave unfriendly and i help players who have been nice to stay alive.

I've been playing this game (as an admin) for way too long to see any of this in any way but black and white. It's either something acceptable that's part of the game, or utterly unacceptable because it's worthy of a 2Warns&Kick by an admin.

This^

By slightly changing some of these my ranks for them could be completely flipped. I think a lot of this is how people are interpreting the potential situations differently.

A. Suiciding across the map *2

B. Holding a grudge *4

C. Camping *5 (there are easy ways to prevent a camper from winning and it's a legitimate tactic anyway)

D. Attacking the non-largest player *5 (when there's more than three players)

E. Making secret alliances *5 (as long as it benefits both players in the alliance, and is only active over one game)

F. Backstabbing during a truce *5

G. Cursing at other players in chat *5 (considering half the players, play solely to ruin other people's fun, i'd think this should be allowable)

H. Cursing at admins in chat *3 (There is no quality control on the admins, they're going to get swore at when they do something wrong)

I. Calling people "a noob" and other names *5 (same as cursing)

J. Teaming in non-teams *5 (as long as both player benefit as before, no preplanning who will win)

K. Surrendering over and over in assassin *1 (that would be cheating surely?)

L. Letting a floating player have planets *5 (legitimate tactic)

M. Not paying attention to whole map *5 (people shouldn't be judged for lacking skill)

N. Attacking at the very beginning of a game *5

O. Setting the number of planets to 10 *5 (considering team games are ALWAYS low production, 60+ planets, i'd suggest we need more 10 planet games)

P. Setting the size of home planet to 200 *5 (same as above)

Q. Not cooperating in teams  *1 (don't play teams if you don't want to cooperate)

R. Making multiple alliances *5 (same as above, as long as every member stands to benefit, i don't see a problem)

S. Not surrendering when lost *5 (it's not over until you have no troops left)

T. Not ending game when completely winning *5 (it's annoying, but it's also funny when said player loses their connexion)

U. Admin kicking those they don't like *1

V. Spamming chat *5 (i've seen both players an admins do this to encourage standoffs, too ingrain in the community to vilify)

W. Insulting players who are not in the game *5

X. Trash talking *5

Y. Aggression *5 (people group up with their friends and pick on people, and then point at the resulting aggression and collectively denounce it. it's pathetic. not to mention that it seems to be tolerated anyway...)

Z. Refusing to listen to admin *5 (admins have mute, kick and boot for a reason. not to mention 'quality control' issues again)

The thread isn't asking for your opinion of me KillTime, try rereading the first post and if you want to talk about me so much make a thread of your own.

Right now, Micho, is a delicate time, and I have known you as long as you been around. So Just listen to me man, when you hear this:

                                 Change your ways, become compatible,

                                               JOIN THE TEAM THEME,

                                                                       lose the attitude.

<u>Micho is one of our finest players.
