Update: I'll admit it. None of this was robbie's fault. I've been having persistant file stability issues. I've finally gone to always using a copy of the file, (and replacing the main file with the backup every day if it's broken) so file stability should (hopefully) be greatly improved. *Crosses fingers*
edit 1: Noticed robbie has been ignoring his work for almost an entire week. Fixed him, hopefully.
edit 2: Typo fix. "OIt's" -> "It's"
edit 3: Fessed up.

You just have to get good flags on all the gamemodes, there isnt a constant to enter, just play all the game modes and sooner or latee you will get there! |

he didn't count flags.
he just listed people by classic flag.
so if you are GA there you are going to be firs probably, and if there's one 1 more guy with ga flag then teams flag becomes the most important flag, then crash and so on..

Location: Australia | Yeah.., someone with an admiral flag in classic, and an admiral flag in crash shouldn't be ranked higher than someone with GA classic, but only ensign or lieutenant rank in crash. GA is a lot harder, and should deserve more recognition. |

it should go like this
first one is the one with most GA flags.
if 2 players have 2 GA flags then we look at how many 3 stripes, or 2 stripes or 1 stripe, whatever is important!

It didn't matter on what mode you got your flag and was sorted like (GA-flags|3-stripes|2-stripes|...). One GA-flag in one mode would have been higher ranked then a person with three stripes multiple other modes (because I thought and still think that its much easier to become two striped in teams and classic then to become three striped in classic for example).
The current system seems to output a very similar result like my points ranking-system.
edit: at the moment i dont really care about the rankings. GA is only possible to get if you play at times when there are enough high ranked players (like never) and flags like 1 stripe everybody can get easy like presents if just playing enough games.post updated on Nov 11, 2011 @ 5:17pm |
