Location: Zarcon The Developer | So last time we had a Grand Admiral contest, nobody won because it was impossible with how I had the rankings set up. So every week until we get a Grand Admiral in Classic Galcon Fusion, I'm going to adjust the ranks a notch. So start playing now to build up your rank, so next week when I tweak them, you'll be ready to make your move! I expect someone to reach Grand Admiral within the next two weeks.
THE PRIZE: As apologies for the last contest, the prize will be BOTH a Galcon T-Shirt of your choice AND a one-of-a-kind piece of hand-made galactic artwork* by Phil himself, sure to be worth millions someday!

Location: Zarcon The Developer | That image was actually colored pencil + markers + water color on paper. Then I scanned it in, inverted it, and added a bit of glow.
The winner will be getting a new piece of artwork - I'll send them the original in the mail as well as display a slightly enhanced version on the website for everyone to envy :)

Location: GA | Roxie yes GA was possible before but I would really like to get to GA once in my galcon career before I hang up my galcon hat. Maybe Phil could lower the win % required for all ranks. |

Posts: 129 | Ga is not impossible with the current ranking system, it's just that no one really has the time to play 24/7 to get the rank. But hopefully, these tweaks will fix that. |

Anyway, as long as you promise to not make it too hard it's all good. I would say aim for what me and tx were talking about with lower weight and higher win%. If you make it too easy I'll probably cry when I get home and find out. |
