Hey,

I've made server upgrade to 1.3.2 mandatory - this is to ensure that all servers run the latest version which includes the patch to fix the "take-over-unpassworded-accounts" cheat.

Also, sometime this week I'm going to be upgrading the website so that it's faster and more stable.  This will probably involve a bit of downtime sometime.  I'll try to keep it minimal.

Play Galcon!

I'm really glad to see that you fixed that bug.
However this means I will stop running my server becouse I want to allow cabin boys to change options...
Maybe there should be a cabin boy-mode which could be turned on or off by the server owner only.

[BTW would be nice if the admins got a warning if two or more players had the same ip. Like "Matching IPs: #player1 #player2" ;)]

I'll consider this, though doubtful.  Why?  Esp. in lieu of how much trouble people have with cabin boys setting up awful settings, etc.

I think I might do something like:
/showips
philhassey - 123.123.123.123
nanno - 123.123.123.123
etc
etc

So you can see all of them.

Well, I think people liked it more. Anyway, I decided to start it again and see how it works out.

/showips - nice that would be, I thought galcon wouldn't give out anyone's IP. (Hm and maybe it shouldn't, or just for the owner :))

Any IP related commands would only be available to the admins on the server.

You could only show hashes, and to not give away who has a static or dynamic IP initialise the hashfunction with something else for every new game.

The mac download for 1.3.2 pops up a whole bunch of characters and doesn't open up a "download Galcon?" I cant upgrade with that link, is there any other way to get it, or just a bug that will be worked out?

Hey - thanks for noticing that.  Appears to be an issue with my server upgrade.  Can you tell me if it is working now?

Thanks!
