Dynamite Jack in Humble Bundle with Android!

Hey! I’ve just completed porting Dynamite Jack to Android! You can get it right now in the Humble Bundle with Android!

If you’re new to the Humble Bundles, they offer several games in a bundle and you can pay what you want for a bunch of great indie games! Dynamite Jack is along side Dungeon Defenders, Super Hexagon, Beat Hazard Ultra, Solar 2, and NightSky HD. You can grab all these games on Android, Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Android for just a few bucks!

Also, we’ll be announcing a new Dynamite Jack maps contest with Dynamite Maps very soon, so sharpen up your map making skills to win some sweet prizes! Check back in the forums or in the Community Maps section of the game for details in a day or so.

P.S. Galcon 2 had it’s first multiplayer game this past Saturday! For now, the beta is closed to Kickstarter backers only, but you can read the progress so far on the Galcon blog .

I’m new to Dynamite Jack, so pardon me if these are obvious:

    1. Is there a way to list the highest-rated maps in-game?
    2. Is there a way to favorite a map? I see a tab for Favorites, but I couldn’t find a button to favorite the map I was playing (so that I could come back and finish it later).
    3. Is there any possibility of Playlists of maps at some point in the future? As in, playlists for the various Dynamite Maps winners, or playlists for a variety of maps by different authors that all play well together, or follow a common theme.

    1. Not all the time, but sometimes I set up a link to the highest rated. I keep it to “newest” and “popular” more to keep things fresh in the community maps section.

    2. Once you play the map, you get to rate it. The favorites sections shows you the maps you rated the highest.

    3. I dunno … But, right now you can click on an author and get a list of all their maps, so that’s probably a pretty good way of finding some maps with a similar style.

Looked on the Google Play store and neither Dynamite Jack or Humble Bundle is listed. So where to buy this?

  4. philhassey Says:

John, it’s for sale at https://www.humblebundle.com/ only right now. In 2 weeks (or maybe sooner?) it’ll be on Google Play.
